Welcome to Youngstown State University—YOUR University. Life is full of choices, and you have made a very wise one as you continue your educational endeavors at YSU. Your years of college will be filled with opportunities—opportunities to gain more knowledge, both inside and outside of the classroom; opportunities to make friends whose friendships will last for a lifetime; opportunities to work with wonderful faculty and staff members who will share their knowledge and expertise with you; opportunities to participate in leadership roles, both on campus and throughout our community; and opportunities to participate in many programs and events. Take time during your college years to reflect on your own lives, your needs, your hopes, and your desires. Allow the faculty, staff, and administration at YSU to assist you as you pursue those goals and dreams. Make your choices intelligently and purposefully.
